Virgin Mobile Offers GSM Services in India

Virgin mobile said on Thursday that it has tied up with Indian mobile operator Tata Teleservices to offer mobile services in india using GSM (Global system for Mobile Communications ),the more popular mobile technology in the country.

Virgin joined the price war by annoucing low voice and SMS rates.The company is,for example,offering 2,000 local and nationwide SMS for free for 30days for payment of 33 rupees.

Airtel has come up with new Tariff plans for its prepaid blackberry customers with unlimited monthly plans. Now airtel prepaid customers can enjoy unlimited  plans  for Blackberry Rs.299 and Rs.899 with ease of activation .Airtel prepaid customers can simply subscribe by SMS to 121 and choose a plan and geeting  SMS based  instant activation.
